Plow United
by Music

It was a cold 13 years while Plow United was on hiatus. We were all asking, "O where o where are the ragged, heartfelt jams? Where?" But, since they reformed in 2011, the band has been kicking out the tunes like nobody's business, first releasing Marching Band in 2013 and then following that up with a series of fierce 7-inchers.

Well, now they've just announced a new split 7-inch EP with The Scandals. Plow United's tune, "Coda," is Plow United doing what Plow United does best: It's a compact, punk snapper with melody at its core that explodes around its edges. Here's a band that's noisy AND smart. The band's Sean Rule said to Punknews:

"The theme of 'getting back up and trying again' means so much to me, as it always has…and learning from that which has knocked you down. That's my coda: the chance to revisit, and try again. No matter how many times it takes."

The four-song release (two from each band) is out July 7, 2015 via Artistic Integrity Records and you can pre-order it here. Meanwhile, you can hear "Coda" right now! Just click "read more"!
