As you may remember, a few years ago Wu-Tang Clan produced a one-of-a-kind album called Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. Details about the album were sparse except that Cher was on it and the release would not recieve a widespread release for at least 88 years. Well, it appears the album has finally sold. The album was sold by online auction house "Paddle8." The site refused to release details except that the American buyer paid "millions" for the record. Assuming that the cryptic details mean millions of American dollars, this would likely make Once Upon a Time in Shaolin the most expensive sale for a record ever. The previous record for most expensive record sold (not necessarily "most valuable record") was the Elvis Presley "My Happiness" acetate, which was purchased by Jack White for a paltry $300,000 in January 2015.
