Straight from the Lovitt Records newsletter:
  • The label has signed a new band called Pinebender. Their full-length, "The High Price of Living Too Long With A Single Dream," will be out this summer. Download a track off the album here.
  • Division Of Laura Lee's "97-99" CD, containing older material, will see the light of day via Lovitt on June 16th. You can download an MP3 off that album here.
  • The Sleepytime Trio discography CD, "memory-minus," has been repressed and has been remastered by Chad Clark.
  • Ben Davis is working on his second full-length. The production should be done by the end of May, and we are looking at it coming out in early fall. Like the first LP, it's a studio album: Jonathan from Engine Down, Dave Laney from Milemarker, David NeSmith from practically every Lovitt band, Ash and Daron from Four Hundred Years, Eddie from Fin Fang Foom, Luke from Bats & Mice, and Cornbread from Engine Down have all played on the record so far.
  • The Rah Bras' two older EPs and perhaps some new material will hopefully be released on one CD sometime in the near future. We'll keep you posted.
  • And finally, the Black Sea [featuring Joe from Fugazi and Jason and Shelby from Frodus] are writing their full-length, which they hope to have out this fall. They are also looking to start playing live shows in the near future.
