us that Finger Records has announced
a new split CD EP between Electric Frankenstein and Orange County
street punk band El Nada.
The appropriately named "Electric Frankenstein Meets El Nada" is set to be released this June.
It features four new tracks from each band, including covers of each
others songs.
El Nada's material was
produced by Greg Hetson and Jim Monroe. It's their first recorded work since
their debut "Nothing For Nobody" and is the first recordings with new guitarist David Chavez
(Co-Dependents). Johnny Ace is
putting together the artwork.
