New There Were Wires MP3 / Release Show and Summer Tour

to let us know that after almost 2 years of writing and recording, There Were Wires will finally have a new CD available. Their sophomore release is entitled "Somnambulists" - download "His Talk, Her Teeth" off the album here.

The CD will be available at their record release show next week at the Palladium in Worcester, MA along with a limited edition version of their new 7" "Nothing... Lipstick, A Little Blood" on Clear Vinyl. Wires' will be joined with hometown friends The Hope Conspiracy, Suicide File, Daughters, and more. Following a short run of east coast dates, There Were Wires will be heading out on a US tour in August with DAUGHTERS. Click READ MORE for all confirmed dates thus far.

The singer was in some serious accident, and was hospitalized for a long time. As he got better, he would take walks around the hospital. He was walking through the childrens ward, and there were paintings by kids on the hallway walls. there was one painting that had someone on an operating table, and his chest was ripped open and wires were coming out of his body. The writing below the picture said "They measured my heart. There Were Wires."
