unique contest planned that starts July 1st. Here are the details:
1. Send in your band's song to: PO Box 7122 Algonquin, IL 60102 / Attn:Double Zero Records Contest 2. Five songs get put up on the Double Zero site every two weeks for 5 months 3. 1 winner gets chosen every 2 weeks by online fan voting 4. 10 winners go up against each other in month 6 to compete 5. 1 winner prevails, gets signed by Double Zero, and gets to see their record distributed. This sounds like a cool idea, but at the same time may prove to be very, very lame. It's like, there are hundreds of unsigned bands on mp3.com, yet I do not think Double Zero would want to sign any of them. This contest may prove to be no different of a situation.

Nice idea but it will never work. Some shitty band with a large fan base will get all their fans to vote or multiple vote and so the best man will certainly not win. 1+ Reply
