"This weeks Jawbreaker Tribute preview song, Kiss the Bottle performed by Sparta, is now available for your listening pleasure at Dying Wish Records." It's not bad actually, and the original is a great song.

yeah I thought this whole jawbreaker tribute thing was a bad idea but so far the songs have sounded pretty good. lucero does a good cover of kiss the bottle too. not sure about some of the bands on it though. could have definitely picked some better ones.

i don't know about that lucero cover... i don't know about lucero period.. that whole brand of rock is kinda lame in my opinion..

of course the original was better... i don't think that they were trying to sing jawbreaker better than jawbreaker... that just can't be done!

well, it's a little bit soft and slow for my taste... and no, you can't top the original... i'm looking forward to hearing what everyone else did... this just might end up being one of those guilty pleasure cds...

I still wanna hear the weakerthans do this song. They were suppose to and I bet yea it would be better than the sparta version. Speaking of the Weakerthans who here has the new album? Its fucking awesome.

Anyone know of any other good IRC chat sites!! I'm currently using EFNET #altrock and Undernet #punkmp3 They don't seem to be updated too frequently anymore so I'm wondering if there is a better one to go to.

thats a very original rendition of the song... i think its great... and yes, i'm glad it doesn't sound like the jawbreaker version... i already own that one!
