Autopilot Off has released the Regenerator EP - it features four cover songs and will be free with the purchase of the self-titled EP. The songs they cover are "Shovel" by Quicksand, "Generator" by Bad Religion, "Rejoice" by U2, and "Raise Your Glass" by Guns 'n' Wankers. It should be in stores in September, but it is available with purchase of the EP at any of the shows on their current tour with Yellowcard. You can hear clips of the songs and a full version of "Shovel" at www.islandrecords.com/autopilotoff/regenerator."

This Ep showed up yesterday. For what it is it's pretty fun. I stand by my opinion that Autopilot Off is one of the better pop punk bands in the world.

ok yeah this band is dumb like they cant right a good 12 songs for island to put out, they have been on this label for like 2years. they keep sending them in the studio and they cant come up with anything good. i cant wait till island drops this sorry ass band, and they break up. and go back to their lame lifes. and stuff =) i hate you apo or cooter or what everR it juts pisses me off when these old dudes hit on 16yr old girls. i like this band, but this is pointless. geez, lets just see a new album already. Oh and the Generator cover is bad. Remember how bad the new version of NFG's Hit Or Miss sounded compared to the old one? Worse than that.

I think the album is due in 2012. They have 76 more EP to release.

I fucking love Guns 'N' Wankers! I'll never forget the first time I heard Skin Deep off Fat Music 1. I rushed out and bought the album immediately. Incredible band...

Oh man. Raise Your Glass by Guns N Wankers is my favourite song of all time. Though I am not scared they'll fuck it up or anything; it's just a cover. In order words, I am actually glad to hear this listing, as it'll be a fun listen. The only thing that could hurt an amazing track is the song itself. And I believe it is still holding up for its own. |
