Fiddler signs Salem

Fiddler Records has announced that they've signed Gainesville, Florida's Salem; which is wonderful news. For those unaware, Salem is the new band from 4/5ths of a personal favourite of mine As Friends Rust. You can download an MP3 from their upcoming EP here.

Update: The EP "Love It or Leave Me" will be released on October 28th.

Salem joins a roster including The Bled.

Fidller is getting an impressive roster, but I was under the impression that Recover was only on a one record contract. Eh, who cares ? Recover and The Bled are both REALLY good. I didn't want to believe the hype associated with The Bled, but they blew me away, easily making it into my top 20 favorite live bands ever. Oh, and As Friends Rust was a good band, I loved that song on my Equal Vision/Doghouse sampler from last year. Good stuff THAT GUY (not signed in cause Bush wants my first born)

When I saw Salem with Fich and From Autumn to Ashes they sounded like Hoobastank. The trucker hats are gonna lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvve this shit. Long live the Bled though.
