Cancer Conspiracy reunites for CMJ Showcase

Big Wheel Recreation artists The Cancer Conspiracy have announced that they will reunite for their label's CMJ showcase on October 23rd at CBGB's. Also performing will be Ofer, The Damn Personals, and new BWR signees The Pleased. This is the only show the Cancer Conspiracy will be playing before falling back into their defunct state.

first. BWR doesnt even use their best artist, piebald. shame on them.

Rumor has it Piebald's not on BWR anymore. Wouldn't surprise me if that rumor was true. To further push the rumor, inside the new Punk Goes Acoustic CD, where it has credits for each song [including thanks to whatever label provided the band], there's nothing listed for Piebald's contribution besides where it was recorded. -Scott

Really? I love the Strike Anywhere, Strung Out, and Rise Against songs. They must just not have translated so well.

I talked to Travis in the crowd while we were watching Koufax open for Piebald in Philadelphia last december (@ The Troc), and he said they weren't on BWR anymore, and that they had been and will be recording demos to shop around. There ya have it.

Last I heard they teamed up with a few other shitty labels and they share an office in LA.
