us that Adeline Records have posted a "press conference" with mysterious punk / new-wave act The Network. You can check out the video here to see the band members response to the rumors that they are, in fact, Green Day.

Whats the big fucking deal about this band??? First off the music sucks, secondly it is NOT ground breaking or anything by those standards, and thirdly...well there really is no third point seeing as the two previous statements solidified the point I was trying to make.

who said it was suppose to be "groundbreaking"? its green day and a few other guys in disguise and whatnot not trying or setting out to make punk rock music or anything groundbreaking....its more of an experimental thing, but you wouldnt know since you dont like what you've heard already, therefore you dont and wont buy the album and hear whats on it......so basically, you just dont like what you've heard and your "points" are just opinions, theres a difference between fact and opinion......and like i said, what you ranted about was just opinion, not fact

I never said it was a fact...I'll I'm saying is this band wouldn't be such a big deal if A) It didn't have members of green day in it and B) if there wasn't this mystery about Green Day members in the band surrounding it.

you're right, it wouldn't have nearly the hype behind it if it wasn't greenday...maybe that's because green day has established a name for themselves and so them putting out music under a psuedonym would generate a buzz. what's the point of your bitching again? jealous cause you're not as popular as greenday or something? you don't like the band...that's great, you can say they suck...in fact you did...so what purpose do you have here now? to argue your opinion is right?

My point of bitching is I think it's fucked that Billy Joe and his group of 40 something psuedo punkers can get together and put out a piece of shit record like this and it's treated like it's the fucking greatest thing ever released. It's a shitty devo album w/ Billy Joe singing, thats all. Nothing more....and if it was put out by someone else...or some other band it would be deemed the dumbest fucking album ever. THATS what I'm "bitching" about you fuck head.

what point were you trying to make? i didn't see a point made..i just saw two opinions made. the former i don't agree with and the latter i do...but then again, i just like good music, it doesn't have to be groundbreaking to be enjoyable. and it's all that much better cause it's green day.

I've also heard people compare fifteen fo Green Day! I don't here it. Well, maybe a little bit on "Lucky" but for the most part I don't thinl they sound alike! I don't know what this has to do with Green Day or PG but anyhow!

What could they gain? MANY laughs that's what. I'm sure they enjoy doing things that don't sound like them (you can only do so many G.D. records in a row I guess). Plus they could laugh about how many people they would fool. I'm sure people would shit talk the record, but there would be a lot of people that would buy it anyways when they found out it's Green Day (after the fact that they talked shit). If you don't see the humor in that, then I'll just quit. I guess it's something you either get, or not.

Maybe you should leave the pointing out of "facts" to people who know what they're talking about. How does that not sounds like billie to you? You might need some new ears. Watch the behind the music special or go to their website and listen to the audio messages to find out that this is clearly not Tre.

This was one of the biggest wastes of time i've ever encountered... Its low-fi for one.. also, i'm on dialup, like most of the world, and this took 20 minutes to download and theres nothing here.. the guy screams in another language the whole time and a fight ensues, but it shuts off before we get to see anything good. it was obviously staged to give the band more mystery. No information is actually divulged about their relation to green day, although anybody thats heard it knows that at least BJ Armstrong is involved.

I read this from KROQ - apparantly, Green Day was going to release this album with their mainstream record label but the record label refused to release it because they didn't like the material and thought it would be a huge disaster (sales wise) cause it's not your typical green day that everyone is hoping for. So instead, Green Day decided to release it on their record label under "The Network"

The translator in the video is none other than Dante from the movie Clerks. Dante of course is the main charecter in the movie with dark hair.
