Ugh, don't remind me. He got in a car accident and it ended his promising* career in the NHL. I think he played in the central league for a while, but I don't know where he is now. *not promising

If nothing else, he brings some veteran leadership to a team that has...Smith and Smyth. Not that that's a bad thing, but the rest of the team is what, 25 years or younger (Conn Smythe Cross notwithstanding).
