ALOT of younger kids like Rise Against, acutally i've seen more kids at their shows than a-f. They also seem to appeal to alot of the surf-jock type. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but I don't think that they're following is really that much more mature than anti-flag's!RA just have better lyrics.

The Cursive, Suicide Machines, Murder By Death, and Brand New all suck. and they have no relevence to a punk page, suicide machines shoulda stuck with ska. now that thats outta the way, i like the lawrence arms, (maybe just cause im from chicago too) well when the bass player, i think his name is brendon sings, the other guy is pretty lame, or at least it sounds like a different dude, but none more black is a pretty cool band, not as fast as kid dynamite, but i think shevchuk has a cool sounding voice and there were some catchy ass songs on that cd they had.

I think you should be FUCKING SHOT for even comparing that cookie-cutter melodic hardcore to the greatness of Strike Anywhere.

Strike Anywhere are a lot better. Rise Against are a good band who may have a little more variety in their last album, but Strike Anywhere's music conveys a lot more passion, to me at least.

strike anywhere is an ok band in my opinion, but rise against is fucking amazing, tim is a great singer altho he screams on occasion which sounds pretty good even tho i hate screaming because there isnt really much talent involved in it, not none, but not much. and they kick so much ass in concert too, even thru the loss of dan, they still fucking rule, i actually kind of like it better, theres so much energy i get totally psyched everytime i hear them and it just makes me wish i could change the fucking world, but thats just me, and different bands will have different effects on everyone, so rock on with what you like, as long as its not emo. lol, seriously emo sucks
