New Name Taken song posted

Fiddler Records has posted a demo version of a new Name Taken song that will be on their upcoming full-length Hold On, out April 13th. The song is called "It Sounds Prettier In Spanish" and can be listened to here.

You guys are crazy name taken is great. Saves the day??? WTF they don't sound a thing like STD, Name Taken actually has a good guitarist. Name Taken is going to be huge. Fiddler is going to be rewarded for signing such a hard working band and their live show is great too.

Name Taken cured aids and cancer. One time Name Taken was fighting a bear, and Name Taken killed the bear, but they really didn't and it came back, but they won anyway. One time Name Taken was flying a plane full of supplies to some small African country, but they lost the supplies, but the kids were like "it's ok, we just need your music!" Only they didn't say it like that, but Name Taken could understand them anyway because they speak every language ever.

it will soon. right now, everyone is trying to be punk. witht their indian hair, useless belts and patches that just scream "I'm so PONK!" it started with the emo/pop-punk trend, which led people to the harsher punk. this will lead to major lables signing every two-bit punk act out there, and thus over saturating the market. people will loose interest and rediscover ska. so far the most popular ska trend is what i like to call "ghetto latino ska." it is ska with a heavy mexican influence, ala voodoo glow skulls. some of the scene's most favorite bands are matamoska, la banda skalavera, and viernes 13, just to name a few. personlly, i hope that it is british ska to help kick start the genre. spunge, lightyear, capdow, and king prawn are some sweet ass ska punk acts that i hope become big, especilly capdown. but if trends persist, it will probably be a pop-punk

Wow, I was all set to hate this, but this is fucking good. Lots of energy, and a very full sound. Others may have done it before, but I can't get enough of shit like this. Lame band name, but oh well, there'll always be worse ones (Volcano!!, I'm looking your way). Safe to say I'll probably be picking this up when it drops.
