us that 1-2-3-4 Go Records will release the second full length from San Jose's Whiskey Sunday this summer. From the press release "These guys are highly recommended for fans of Naked Raygun, The Misfits and No Idea Records bands like Hot Water Music or Gunmoll. Gritty vocals, big choruses and alcoholic lyrics. What more can you ask for?" You can preview two MP3s from their previous recording in the label's MP3 section.
The label has also started to put together Experiments In Audio Rocketry Volume II [review of volume 1]. Bands confirmed so far include The Lawrence Arms, This Is My Fist, The Sainte Catherines, Josh Berwanger and The Holy Ghosts, Roy, Tom Frampton and Whiskey Sunday. More announcements are expected soon.

I love Naked Raygun and No Idea bands, I've got nothing against the Misfits, but... Whiskey Sunday is one of the worst bands I've heard. Dang. I am looking forward to that comp, though. TIMF! and SC are outstanding! | Features

Tom Frampton is the man. He sent me two free CDs because he loves me. This Is My Fist had 2003's best debut 7" (even if it did technically come out in 2002).
