The Frisk lose bassist

According to their website, The Frisk have asked bassist Hardcore Dan to leave the group for personal reasons. His last show with the band will be on March 26th in Oakland . The band has made no mention of a replacement, but mentioned that they are already working on a new record.

Mar 26, Fri Oakland, CA, Oakland Metro with RU36, Five Days Dirty, Civil War Rust, Out of Reach, 8 PM, $10

This is the last time the "Audio Ransom Note" lineup will play together! Come by and wish Hardcore Dan good luck!

Yes he does. After this upcoming show Zac, Hunter, and I will start writing our next record. Not sure if/when a new bassist will enter the picture. Maybe we'll play some more shows soon, maybe not.

i saw these guys with the subhumans in san francisco and they fucking ruled... really good live band, and the audio ransome note record is fucking good.

these guys opened for subhumans in LA, and they got ZERO love... pretty shitty band in my opinion

The 1st L.A. show was the most hostile crowd I've had to fuck with in years. It was a lot of fun for me- some of the crowd were idiots and homophobes, they heckled us, we insulted them, and that was that. We got paid, had a great time hanging out at the show, and had a much more positive crowd the next night at the same venue.

I went to this show in oakland, it was a great last show I thought. by then the crowd was smaller, but it was still a great show. there was another sick ass band, 5 Days Dirty. they seemed to have a shitload of crazy fucks and hot chicks supporting them, they totally surprised the shit out of me, great new band, great songs.
