New Amp available.

New issue of AMP Magazine is just posted online, with features on The Dropkick Murphys big St. Patty's Day weekend, as well as interviews and articles on Countdown To Life, The Get Up Kids, Henry Fiat's Open Sore, Kilowatthours, Leatherface, Matchbook Romance, Mudhoney, The Silence, Sugarcult and more. Also, all the regular columnists and record reviews.

Interpunk has just posted the new retail issue of AMP available on their site. AMP is already sold out of this issue, and this might be the last place it is available. 18 pages with NOFX, and over 220 pages total. 3 free CD's inside as well, including a split CD with Countdown To Life, and Thirty3.

speaking of fat, i just saw against me and planes mistaken for stars and it was everything i ever dreamed it could be. it was my second time seeing against me and they are always fun as fuck. i never saw pmfs before and oh my fucking god they are not what you expect. it might a been the most intense show ive ever seen they are fucking unreal

That interview with NOFX in this new issue is probably the best interview I have ever read. It was so funny. I actually wanted more, and it was already a lot.

Yeah, that was great. Gave me a new respect for that band. I think I'm going to check out their new CD. Hadn't been into them for a while, but it reminded me how rad those guys are (seem, at least!).

The Dropkicks are great guys. Honestly. I went to High School with James, and have been friends with Mark and Tim (the new guy) for the better part of 10 years, and they're still the same dudes they've always been. And anyone who has met Ken, Al, and Matt know the truth about them, too. They're all stand-up dudes.

It was. I was there, and this piece is acyually an amazing representaion of it. I guess maybe having the visual to go along with what they are talking about helps, but it is a really good piece. Great guys.

18 pages with NOFX? OH SWEEET LORD IN HEAVEN YES!! They are the most important and non-covered band out there! Are they ska or screemo or?? I don't know, hopefully 18 pages will clue me in! and 3 free CD's??? I hope they made room for some Epitaph and Fat Wreck bands! Oh please, let that be true!! honestly, can AMP suck any more dick over at Epitaph and Fat Wreck then they already do? I guess money really DOES talk.

That's funny, because looking at that line up, and all the bands in that issue, there sure are a lot of bands that most people, including yourself I'm guessing have never heard of. They said it's over 220 pages, and you are going to talk like a big man because they gave a few pages to NOFX. You're a fucking idiot. What Epi-Fat free mag do you read? They must all be corperate whores.

Yeah, I agree that this is a completley assonine coment. 1 out of like 40 bands is on Fat or Epitaph, and they're "sucking cock". You're an idiot. Besides, there needed to be a good interview finally done with NOFX. I'm sure you weren't bitching when they put your precious little Against Me! on the cover, even though that's a Fat band. I'd like to say save your breath, but hopefuly you'll run out soon.

It’s been almost 8 years since a real interview was conducted with them" (http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=49961&) when on the same page, AP has (on their cover, mind you) "Their first interview in 7 years!" (http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=47128&) And I'm the idiot? And AMP doesn't really need to be the focus of shitty mags... how many mags DID NOT do a Decendents interview this/last/next month? Exactly. It's a fucking money game, and you are all pwned.

I think the emphasis was on the word "real" interview. That AP one was a joke. NOFX even said that one sucked in the AMP interview. And how many mags had Milo in them. You are an idiot.

Yeah, I saw that. It's pretty hard to say they are all about the money when they sell it for $1.99, give you way more than any other magazine who costs $4.99 +, and they turned down 50,000$ from AOL to put start up discs in the new issue. Sounds like they are in it for the money to me!

Get a subscription. It's only $20 for a year, and then you get to pick 2 free CD's that you would have bought for $25 in the store anyways.

Dude, the magazine weighs like 2 pounds with all that free shit in it. Plus its a couple hundred pages of paper. I don't think interpunk is trying to profit off of the shipping here. If you want, just drive to your local store and buy it. It's available everywhere. I think this is more for the people that don't have a local store.

Does anyone know why the Alkaline Trio interview doesn't appear on the AMP website? Yes, I am trying to get by life without paying for anything. So far, I have not gotten too far, but I do sleep at night.

Obviously because they want you to buy the magazine. It's not like its expesive and usually comes with like 2-3 cds. Not a bad deal.

Yeah, I don't hink any of their cover stories are on line. I mean, I guess the cover stories of the free ones are, but the for sale ones are not. But I guess when they make 24 out of 25 of the articles available for free on their web page, you can't exactly bitch.

I think it's funny as hell when AMP puts out a similar cover story as AP right around the same time (done it a few times now) and just rips them a new ass as far as showing them how an interview or article should be. It makes it pretty obvious that AP doesn't really give a shit about the bands too much.

I love it when AMP posts new issues on line. It's a whole day of reading cool shit while getting paid from my work. AMP is pretty fricking awesome anyways.

How much will this amp sell for? I hope it's as powerful as my Mesa Boogie Road King. That thing was sweet. I picked it up at Guitar Center for only 500 bucks after I traded in my Fender Telecaster when my Eric Clapton cover band split up. The Road King truly is a great amp. It's unfortunate that I blew mine out while shredding with my Avenged Sevenfold cover band. We're great. We had Jonathan Brandis on drums but then he killed himself. You can't imagine how hard it is to play guitar and sing with one hand. The other hand has to be left alone so you can reach out and hold invisible crystals.
