MTV has an article online about the second volume of the Rock Against Bush Compilation. The album is set to come out in August and will feature Bad Religion, The Used, Flogging Molly, No Doubt, Yellowcard, Foo Fighters as well as more artists. The article also discusses the Foo Fighters and Bad Religion contribution to the new volume. Volume 1 of the compilation sold nearly 20,000 copies and debuted in the 54th spot on the Billboard 200. This one sounds why more mainstream i.e. no doubt, yellowcard, foo fighters, the used, and in that artical they mentioned green day. 5+ Replies

This is good news though. If its more mainstream it will sell more around the time of the actual election, which means it will have better support, and maybe we can get this asshole out of office...did any of that make any sense? 1+ Reply

Just FYI: In the new issue Alternative Press they got a long ass survey in this issue for people to fill out and if you mail in that survey to them they'll give you a free copy of Rock Against Bush Vol. 1 while supplies last. 1+ Reply

There should be a rock against Kerry cd since there's worse things about the money fiend then the baboon. Plus it's funny since the Used hasn't done shit for a long time now and I still think it was dumb of them releasing thier unreleased shit when they haven't established themselves yet. Yeah this is more mainstream obviously but what can you do, just wait for a rock against Kerry cd. 11+ Replies

Someone (May 1, 2004)
most of the kids who listen to yellowcard, the used, no doubt, etc. aren't even 18 yet. if they are, and they're stupid enough to listen to those bands, they'll probably be stupid enough to buy this CD and then forget to vote. also, vol 1 only sold 20,000 copies? that's good for a small punk band, but fat wreck is in all the suburban malls and huge chain stores. 20,000 copies is pathetic. 2+ Replies

This is what I constantly hear... "Bush is stupid" "I hate bush" "Bush Sucks" One question... WHY!?!? Can't you come up with some explanation. Argue a point... Do your own research, dont just spout liberal propoganda. Don't take advice from bands, or reporters, or some tree hugging hippie. Think for yourself! 2+ Replies

This newage punk stuff sucks. Real punks are anarchists. Real punks dont give a crap about anything but the music. All you guys are a bunch of posers. Just so you know I am not a punk, but a hang out with some people who claim to be, some are some are just hippies. Original Real Punks dont care about trees, or politics at all. I think majority of you guys are just SPOILED RICH BRATTS with to much time on their hands. Grow up and get an education, Like the guy said above. HAVE AN ARGUMENT! 2+ Replies
