Rocket From the Crypt - Circa Now! Reissue Planned

Swami Records is planning to reissue Rocket From the Crypt's Circa Now!, on July 6th. The reissue will be remastered from the original 1/4 inch transfers and will include improved packaging with more photos of the band during this era. It will also include four tracks recorded in San Diego nine months after the initial release of Circa Now!.

Scream Dracula Scream is one of my favorite cds ever. Haven't gotten tired of it even 10 years or whatever since buying it. But Circa Now! is really good too.

I was never impressed with Scream Dracula Scream... I've only listened to it twice but I'm a big fan of RFTC and it just didn't grabme bob. Circa Now! is fucking excellent though.

I think I like it so much because it's like if Phil Spector produced a RFTC album. It just sounds big and orchestral to me. The only cd of theirs I don't really care for is the self-titled.

I haven't heard Live from Camp X-Ray at all but the album before is fucking awesome... the title escapes me since I lost the case and booklet... American Slave... Venom... Anypoop, it kicks ass!

This was my least favorite album of their 134 released. Good band, bad album. Glazed was fun to listen to......in a K-hole.

I heard about this ages ago, I assumed it had come and gone. No wonder i couldn't find it anywhere. Oh well, can't fucking wait, hope it really has improved, which is gonna be pretty difficult.
