Hopelessly Devoted To You Vol. 5 coming your way soon

On June 29th, Hopeless Records will release the fifth volume of it's Hopelessly Devoted To You sampler series. Volume five will contain previously unreleased tracks from Thrice, Break The Silence, Common Rider, Melee, Stairwell, Amber Pacific, and Avenged Sevenfold, as well as previously released material from Atom and His Package, Against All Authority, and more.

franscesca isn't a new track, tho. it was released on their ep "transmission" like 2 years ago. i guess since it didn't have wide distro and is probably out of print now they can claim it's unreleased?

If you buy the new melee album from hopeless now, you get this comp free. I don't really like melee, but just thought i'd point it out to you.

I think Melee has some actual talent. I'm glad to see that they were put on this comp. and that they are getting to be more public. We got to meet them at Warped tour-Caglary and they are such sweet boys and for their sake, I'd love to see them kick it to the top: which I think they have a good chance of doing.

its a leftover BUT, there are more, Soon soon an Against All authority/Common Rider split is going to be coming out, we talked to AAA on their tour here...and they said they had to go home and finish vocals and then it should be out soon. so they have alot of old material im assuming..im sure this song will be on that split..and melee sucks and other bands yeah..this wont be that good..as opposed to EARLY hopelessly devoted to you cds...the first three..were REALLY worth it.

dude, this is fucking weak compared to, for example, volume 2, which is badass and had two songs from every band. eh, whatever, its only gonna be like 4 bucks.

I definately won't be picking this up for one reason only...NO FUCKING SAMIAM! Hopeless needs to get their priorities straight, Thrice isn't even on their label anymore yet they get 2 songs on the "label sampler"...By the way, isn't a new AAA album due out soon? You'd think they could have at least gotten one of those new tracks for this. Hopeless used to kick ass when they were putting out albums for Falling Sickness, Funeral Oration, and Heckle...

Although i agree with you, this is nowhere near as good as 2 and 3, but thrice are still jointly on sub city with whatever major they signed to (they all seem the same to me)

I'm usually not very openly critical about these things because I realize that other people like different kinds of music, and that's cool, but this is ridiculous. Illusion of Safety has been out way longer than Yellow #5 (Mustard Plug), yet there're no MP songs to be seen on this compilation. The only reason I'm saying this is because I've seen that god damn Thrice track on about 50 fucking comps I've picked up in the past and it's not like it's anything new. Is it a legal thing? I don't know, but I wish labels would start doing the unreleased song comps like Fat did with their Vol. 5 sampler. Now that was fucking great and a refreshing idea to boot!

I just bought it yesterday from hopelessrecords.com its only 3 bucks but i havent gotten it yet so i cant say if its good or not but there missing some of there most popular bands so alot of people wont buy this cd but for 3 bucks it cant hurt to get it
