Swami Records is reporting that on Sunday June 27th the Testors, featuring guitarist Sonny Vincent backed by members of Rocket From The Crypt, will be making their only US appearance this year at the Casbah in San Diego. Demolition Doll Rods, The Heartaches and Knights Of The New Crusade will join them at the event.
After the show the band plans to head into Drag Racist Studios to record a new record. More info on it is expected soon.
In other Swami Records news, Hot Snakes have finished recording their new record Audit In Progress. Expect it on October 5th of this year. In August Swami will reissue San Francisco's Doomed by Crime. The reissue will feature alternative takes of the songs "Hotwire My Heart" and "Baby, You're So Repulsive" from the same session that produced their first 7" in 1976. Swami Records (21 comments)

ps I don't know if anyone noticed, but MARIO RUBALCABA is the new drummer for Hot Snakes. Do you realize what this means? the new Hot Snakes record has the potential to be exponentially better than the first two! is it possible? I can't wait to see.

Just a bit of advice, don't go to the Swami Records website while high on acid. I did that once...bad bad idea.
