: well i know this is not a message board but this whole putting australia down is not on... i mean sure some bands have changed but that doesnt mean a whole scene has changed no replys please to this comment but i think bodyjar are differant to the rest of the aussie scene and frenzal rhomb are cool plus living end were never really true punk in a music style but in there lifestyle they are true punks so no more put downs and let the scene get along

No reply's?Why??Anyway...i live in Sydney, and I am not saying the whols scene is shitty, but only those three bands. Bodyjar-always on TV, pepsi commerical, major label Living end-(Not that punk) Always on tv, they even put on make upp before gigs..., also on major. Frenzal-the biggest hypocrites! They made over 15 video clips in such a short existance, they love media spotlight, they pretend to hate mcdonalds,then go to australian music award that is sonsored by mcDonalds... Hm, yeah 28 days, a pop punk/hip hop are just as lame, but they're no punks... Anyway...those bands fucking suck...They can be cool, or even funny, but sure they are in just for the money. list of bands from australia that you should look out for: Game over, The shirkers, The last hemeroids, Crank, Fallout , Mindsnare, mad dash, 99 reasons why, one dollar short, A.V.O., Downtime and probably a lot more...

Hey man, I absolutely do not give a fuck about the australian scene like i dont give a fucking fuck about the us scene ( its is so fucking lame lame lame such bands suck, like Nofx, THEY are hypocrite, not Franzal )and I dont fucken care about the other punk rock shit scenes, they all suck!!! I listen to what the fuck i want ( blink182, frenzal, the livin end, millencolin, pennywise, vgs, nfg...), I have no stupid bigot prejudices and i dont fucking care if the band i listen to do commercials for pepsi or cocacola or for condoms or if they are on a major fuckin label, or do 15 fucking videos in one week!who fuckin cares??? you? you are dumb! they get money, they play to get money, its their fucking job, i ( and all of you, you hypocrites ) would do the fucking same, so please shut the fuck up on these dumb and nouse subject. Firstly, I am not 15, I have been into punk since 92. I don't consider a mainstream bands as a part of the "scene".Another thing-You idiot, you say, that you don't care if the bands get rich or sell out, but you hate nofx because they are popular and rich. Nofx, became what they are today, with 17 years behind their back, and for one they deserved it. If you did not know, about 80% of people that play in punk bands also work, because it is just not enough to get by , with just making a record, selling merch or playing a gig.(Major label bands, and well know bands like Rancid,Nofx, pennywise don't have to work, but some of them still do, fat mike-fat,honest dons, tim-hellcat...) In Profane existance (94 I think), they really had this thing for epitah, but at least they had something to back them up.I had mine, and you only have a opinion. And finnaly no one told you n

Just because they like what they do, and it's not hard does not mean that it ain't a job, because there are more people envolved and work for labels... here And , you can check on www.fatwreck.de , things translated to 'jugoslavian' language were done by me. punky@antionline.org anyeway...
