Fightstar is a four-piece post-hardcore band from London, England. In 2005, frontman Charlie Simpson left the highly successful British guitar trio Busted, citing his marked preference and love for alternative rock-based music over the lighter pop-punk music he had produced with Busted, and his intention to carry on carving out a musical niche, in a different genre, with his band Fightstar.
