Landmines were formed in the fall of 2005. The members consist of musicians local to Richmond, VA who were rocking in other bands (boxingwater, Are You Fucking Serious, apocalypse pow) before Landmines. The band plays aggressive, fast, and melodic hardcore/punk. Landmines have been compared to an array of different punk/hardcore bands, some include Verbal Assault, Husker Du, Strike Anywhere, and Avail. We hope that Landmines can continue to tour and put out records in the DIY fashion that has been lost on so many up and coming punk/hardcore bands.
