Hailing from a small town in Pennsylvania once known for its invention of the zipper and its booming tool and die industry, Signal Home draws many influences from its environment...Meadville, PA. Raised on vinyl records, cheap all-ages shows at the local township building, and each of them having over 10 years of experience in independent music, they decided it was time to start a band that was finally meant to last. The band recently released it's debut full length cd, "A Fragile Constitutional" (August 22nd, 2006) on new label, Carbon Copy Media (Victory Records Distribution). The band has been on tour relentlessly since it's signing to the label in March of 2006. The band is known for it's intense energy at their live show as well as their strong belief in creating a community of friends with their music and not just fans. The band's future plans include upcoming tours with Last Tuesday and Shindig as well as preparation for their sophmore release.
