The Max Levine Ensemble is a DIY pop–punk band, which formed in September 2000 under the unlikeliest of conditions. You see, we were a bunch of friends who went to high school together and one day decided to start a band. I know, you‚??re thinking ‚??what‚??s so unlikely about that–‚?Ě Well, I guess it‚??s not so unlikely. The point is that we currently have a four–man lineup: David ‚??Spoonboy‚?Ě Combs, Ben Epstein, Mat Lewis, and Nick Popovici. We like to play socially conscious songs and encourage dancing while doing so.
