    How old are you?
I would hope anyone who is over the age of 15 would have a little more maturity and the ability to articulate themselff just a little better.

    You must be joking...

Bad Religion, in my opinion, brought about the first few true CREDIBLE punk albums. (Shhhh, we don't talk about Into The Unknown, though for what it was, it was pretty cool)

While bands like The Ramones were singing about Rock and Roll High School, and the Sex Pistols (with the severe influence of their capitalist manager, Malcom Mclaren) were being mornic iconoclastic nihilists, Bad Religion was making truly profound and insightful music.

Bad Religion took what punk was, musically, anti-establishment, pacifist etc. and merely brought the intellectual aspect of the message and conveyed it lyrically and musically.

Without Bad Religion, Punk Rock as a genre would have died much quicker or would have remained the same mindless garbage it was becoming.
