i e-mailed the lead singer, and it turns out that now only am i not dating him, but that his name isn't kelly. additionally, you're right, they arent punk in the narrow sense of the term, and thats totally unrelated to the fact that they rock with unbelievable hardness.

I can just picture some 15-year-old kid sitting at a computer, with a foot-high mohawk and a ripped Ramones shirt, reading through the news on the site, getting to this piece, smacking his monitor in frustration, and writing that response. He'd then sit for a minute, contemplating how awesome he is for being so hardcore, before going to the next newsbit and doing the exact same thing.
