I think that's where you're confused. No one has a beef with the word fag because it hurts their feelings, it's a totally condescending word and when you use it it's like you see them as less of a human being than you just because they're gay.

by mattp330 on 2006-06-13 19:49:46 buddy, i've read enough vonnegut along with countless other authors. and he is saying "imagine if that happened" it hasn't. you aren't starting a movement. i've just learned in life you have to be more careful with the things you say. it doesn't make you look cool. believe me, they are tons of people who haven't read the books, seen the movies, or beat off to the magazines you have. that doesn't make them worse, just different, and the things you say can still have an effect on them, you're not punk rock at all bud
