I knew someone was going to make that comment. However, since people are willing to go see just about any type of band in Austin, they are also usually willing to buy a lot of albums as well. They are just music connoisseurs in general. Sure they might buy their albums at said bands shows, but Tower was also pretty cool because they would have free in-house shows, usually with free beer (for 21+). Have you ever been to Austin?
