Wasn't the biggest single of The Offspring "Smash It Up" which is a cover from "The Damned Machine Gun Etiquette (1979)"

Right. A boy band. You seem to forget that John Lydon HATED Mclaren's guts. He knew that they were just using them. When they went to America, Lydon insisted that Sid stayed with him so as to keep him off the smack. When they got to LA, Sid went out with Mclaren and came back 20 minutes later smacked up. Mclaren was a cock. He used and abused The Sex Pistols, the only one that could see it was John.
