Alot of people feel that way. I'm not one of those people. But they were definitely two different bands pre/post-Henry. You're right though, Ginn was far more responsible for Black Flag's sound. Once Dukowski was out, that's when things started to really change.

he just brought a different element to the table. he had this whole jock aura around him with the no shirt deal and the short shorts and long hair. all that went against what hardcore stood for, and not in a Flipper sort of way. the Keith Morris and the Dez Cadena eras were the best.
