I agree pretty much across the board. When I was younger, I always wondered when a magazine called Punk Planet would actually cover punk bands (not that I didn't love many of the bands on their cover; I just never understood how Jets To Brazil were "punk"). Razorcake is a great zine, and I keep meaning to subscribe to it. I think I will now...

I agree with the first sentiment but Razorcake doesn't always write about bands I care about. But, at least they write about bands . . .

Wow, I read Punk Planet a lot....while it def covered bands I didn't care about, I found it reviewed/covered a much wider variety of bands than Razorcake, and had more reviewers, which also was cool. Not that Razorcake is bad, just sayin'. This sucks, I am sorry to see it go.

I agree but it is sad to lose any independent music magazine. I loved this magazine when it came out but it lately seemed way serious and to many "indie rock" bands. I liked the political stuff but the fun seemed to be drained out of it. Razorcake is a super rad 'zine and they seems to cover more of the bands I end up liking.
