I was at that show last night, somewhere in the middle of the set, he stopped and talked about how he couldn't get his mind off the fact that after the show he had to go jail. He mostly talked about "selling out". "We just want people to dance and have a good time". Which is exactly what happened.

All Saints is across the street from Betabar (where they played), That place is terrible. It has the worst coffee in Tallahasee, is 24 hours so it's NEVER cleaned, and has a thriving homeless 20 something population. I liked it so much better when it was called JavaHeads and the Christian family owned it They understood how to clean and use the on site roaster to make quality cheap coffee.

Some kid got hurt (something about a broken arm and a concussion) at the show and there was an ambulance outside. Against Me brought their own security which was MUCH kinder and gentler than BetaBar's traditional security.

It's annoying though, before they "got big" they used to play there every couple months seeing as they are from Gainseville, now we get a little over once a year.

Against Me stories are the only ones in which posting "first" is an actual achievement.
