I don't support the death penalty either, but it might be in your best interest to back your arguments with substantial instead of "if you disagree, you're wrong". Weak.

It's also quite primitive and hypocritical. I can't figure out how so many 'christians' support capital punishment. I also can't understand why a human being who commits a murder, is automatically subject to the possibility of the death penalty, while a child molestor, which is, in my opinion, the lowest form of life on the planet, gets out in 15-25 years!

I really want to see prisons be tougher. Why should convicted killers and rapists get free TV (most of the times it's in their rooms), watch all the latest movies, and other things that make my life outside of prison tolerable?
Take away all those things and truly make it a punishment. Have them sit there and use their heads and think about what brought them to that place. Maybe there'd be more rehabilitation.

I am against the death penalty because no one can prove 100% that anyone did anything, much less murder. If we knew 100% that the person being killed would go to heaven, then I wouldn't oppose it. But since we can't prove either, and it would take both, I am against it.

If heaven existed, I would definately pray a lot and then get killed in a non sinning way.

It's not barbaric. Committing horrible crimes is barbaric. Any punishment for these crimes is fair. Also if someone is imprisoned for life, why waste taxpayers money on him? He is absolutely useless for the community. It's like euthanasia - if a person becomes a complete waste of life then death is the best solution for all the parties involved.
