I don't even care for Against Me!, but this garbage is played out.

Normally, I try to restrict my grammar nazi tendencies, but you really need to reread your sentences before you type. The way you worded your sentence gives it a meaning completely opposite of its intended one.

Also, being open-minded doesn't mean you're not allowed to hate anything. This crap is terrible. I don't care if "you gotta know the rules to break them", this stuff has no rhythm, barely a time signature, no actual key. The only thing that makes me think the band wrote these songs TOGETHER is that, every once in a while, the drums and guitars match up, even if the vocals don't.
I love how you quote "punks", as if to say that a real punk would eat this up. This is terrible metal, and despite the fact that it would piss off parents just as much as good punk could, it is not punk in the slightest. While that is no reason not to like it, it is a darned good reason why you're not finding many people on a PUNK website enjoying it. Same as you probably couldn't go to a death metal community and find many people taking Say Anything or The Lawrence Arms seriously.
