I kind of like that "smile" song. But she does kind of come off as a 'chav'.

I am British and a "chav" has little to do with the hip-hop culture. They mostly listen to dance, rave and happy hardcore music. Burberry is only worn by the posher chavs, the rank and file go for adidas or reebok tracksuits.

The word is also used to describe somebody who acts or speaks extremely 'commonly'. i.e. "you can't eat that, it's been on the floor, stop being such a chav."
