i used to have a thing about the little plastic grocery seperator bars they put on the conveyer belt at supermarkets. i wouldn't touch them. if i was behind someone, i'd make them put it down, and if i was ahead of someone, i'd make them put it down.

then one day, my issue went away, and now i don't mind putting a barrier between my groceries and the stranger's.
