    Well, his statement is more that you should steal from major labels because they don't give their bands money anyways. So basically, if they're fucking the artists, fuck' em is what he was trying to get across I think. So Victory would count in this, but others like Fat Wreck (presumably) wouldn't.

    Then he went on to say, in his opinion, that there aren't any good bands on major labels anyways.

    The two statements don't really have anything to do with each other.

    You have no clue what you're talking about.

    Victory and Epitaph aren't even close to being indies anymore.

    Major labels are run by corporate conglomerates whose negative impact on media and the arts has been well-documented by billions of different sources and need not be further discussed here for the benefit of your dumb ass.

    Also, there's a huge difference between a major that squeezes every dime possible out of its artists and charges as much as possible for their output, as opposed to a label like No Idea that's run out of someone's house and turns just enough of a profit to feed its employees and continue running.
