    When they pluralize it to 'emos' it makes me cringe horribly. It just sounds so freaking awful.

    For serious, Rites of Spring fuck the world. What's called emo today is basically just nasal pop punk versions of James Taylor songs.

    To me, most of what is called emo these days is hard rock with a bit of screaming here and there. I refuse to call it emo. If an emo scene kid knows who Shotmaker is, I'll give them some respect...
