I could write better dialog if 75% of my brain were removed. That show is a lot like the Matrix in terms of infuriating unevenness: a really vague framework of good ideas fleshed out with huge amounts of asinine, unsubstantial padding. Every time I'm tempted to give it another chance I'm immediately reminded why I don't watch TV.

Go rent some Twin Peaks episodes.
