    Oh come on, the economy is just fine. Our generation hasn't even had a hint of what a REAL depression is like. Not being able to afford as many CDs isn't really a sign that your economy is going to hell in a handbasket.

    25% unemployment and waiting in food lines is a depression, not this.

    You don't have to be in a depression to have a weak economy. The dollar isn't strong and you can't argue that point. The price of everything is going up while the value of the dollar is going down. This does not make for a strong economy.

    I'm no economist, but I doubt a recession affects 18-24 year-olds as much as it does the for those 24+ who more traditionally have families/careers/mortgages/etc.
