    I never claimed to have a tough life. I never said anything of that nature. You are putting implications behind my statement that simply weren't there. But that's besides the point, and I can't be angry at you for misinterpreting my statement. I was merely saying that I make about the same amount of money they are, and that we both have the same degree of education (of course, I'm assuming they graduated high school, I have no clue there). They are probably doing as well as they would have if they had never moved past the local band phase. Furthermore, there are making their money doing something they are passionate about. Not that I hate my job or any of that nonsense... I'm just not having the time of my life like these guys are.

    I might have underestimated the number of bands touring, and yeah, most punk and low-level indie bands don't make shit off of their music. But I stand by the original point I was trying to make. Gwen Stacy is probably making a lower-middle class living off of their combined merch/ticket sales and endorsement deals. Their shirts and albums are sold nation wide at Hot Topic, they have got enough money to hire publicists, they are on Ferret records (which is partially owned by Warner), and they're currently on a tour that is sponsored by a company that makes high end fashionable clothes. Are they living the high life? No. But are they doing better than most bands that have only been around for a little over 3 years? You bet.

    I was probably wrong about the whole 10% thing. It just seemed too low when I first read it. I'm sorry, it mostly extends from my love of arguing about things I have little-to-no experience in. What can I say, I love looking like an
