Yeah, that's pretty fucked up right there. Did you see another dude got killed by a taser gun?

while i think the police have some fault, that's a really bias way of summing that up. the police claim to have identified themselves, and were not drunk and hadn't been parting until 4 am.

and on the same day, Wesley Snipes gets "made an example of" and sentenced to three years for not paying taxes.

god, the racial irony is incredible.

I'm with you that based on the facts of the trial made public, the ruling seems pretty outrageous.

But on the other hand, I doubt we actually have all the real facts of the case and I'd hate to see a cop go to jail for just doing his job and being put in a bad circumstance.

The biggest issue here is that plain clothes officers need to have a higher standard before using lethal force. I can definitely see how the groom would be scared shitless by a bunch of regular looking guys pulling guns on him and shouting. I'd probably punch the gas too and run them over if they were in my way.

This is a sad case no matter how you look at it.

Another question is...what was this bachelor party doing at a strip club known for drugs, prostitution and guns? If I was his wife, I'd be glad he got shot for going to a place like that just before getting married. I don't see how going to a strip club (especially THIS kind of strip club) is a good way to honor your soon to be wife.
