Crack - shit tons of jail time
    Cocaine - less jail time

Who made that decision? Probably someone on crack.

Oh give me a break. You are only looking at examples that serve your agenda. You can't just point out one instance of a pothead going to jail and one instance of a cop getting off scott free on a murder charge and claim to have found systemic injustice. Those things are news worthy in their own right because of the fact that they are so rare and isolated.

MOST people who get caught with marijuana or tagging a building don't even do jailtime. In some places including my town, they are more likely just to get the equivilant of a parking ticket.

MOST cops who murder someone and are convicted by a jury of their PEERS end up doing hard time in jail.

The system can be screwed up, but compared to alot of places it's a pretty damn good system. It's the people who fudge it from time to time and you just can't compensate for the human factor. Try getting justice in Iran sometime. They hang homosexuals over there and persecute anyone who crosses the line on speaking out too much.
