Victory act Darkest Hour has sent an update on touring plans and their upcoming record. The band was recently forced to cancel the shows on their tour with Soilwork but are headed to the UK for a series of shows with Between the Buried and Me and Misery Signals.
We are stoked as hell to travel to the land of Zeppelin, The Darkness, The Beatles, The Who, (insert every other
great rock band here....!), DaveO!, and FISH AND CHIPS! This wiil be our last performances on the Undoing Ruin
record! Make sure you guys check out Kris's auction that will be up soon. All the proceeds will go to help pay for
his medical bills. Its gonna be sweet!
Speaking of a new record we have been hard at work. We will be traveling to Vancover, BC to record once again with
Devin Townsend, who will produce and mix the record. We figured that no one else could help us put together the
follow up to Undoing Ruin better then he (and we missed the coffee and great scenery!). So if you live in the
Vancouver area and are going to be around between Feb and March then get in touch we want to hang, there may even
be some guest hanging with TITO! We hope to see the new record out late June/July.
Punknews.org recently spoke with the band about their upcoming full length as well as their recently unveiled rarities compilation.

A memorial / benefit show for late Runaways drummer Sandy West will feature a reunion of several past members of White Flag.
Al Bum, the original vocalist for the long running Los Angeles punk act, will reunite with the band on stage for the first time since 1985. He originally left the band after a surfing accident left him wheelchair bound. Bassist Jello B. Afro will also rejoin the group for the gig. He left the band that same following a "skinhead racist incident while supporting Circle Jerks in Phoenix." The group's line up for the show will feature founding members Pat Fear and Trace Element as well.
The December 9th show will take place at Hollywood's Knitting Factory and will also feature appearances by Adolescents, the Donnas, D.H. Peligro of the Dead Kennedys, and 80s pop rock act the Bangles.
In other White Flag news, the band will support Me First and The Gimme Gimmes on their December 13th gig at the House Of Blues in Anaheim. This will be the first US gigs for any line up of the band since the early 90s, as much of their touring since has concentrated on Europe.

Electric Frankenstein will tour the southern US this December following their appearance at today's FunFunFun Fest (with the Circle Jerks, Negative Approach and many others). The band will have CDs and posters to give away at the gigs, so show up early for the freebies. The band will tour outside the US for much of next year, ominously warning that this may be their last US club tour.
