This week we have another clip from our bothers-in-arms over at National Underground which showcases Smoke or Fire. The video features the band performing the track "What Separates Us" at last year's Fest 6 in Gainesville, FL.

This Tuesday marked the release of the latest album from Alkaline Trio. Agony & Irony is the band's first for their new label, Epic Records, and also marks their first appearance on a major label. Punknews reviewer Michael Dauphin recently chatted with the band's bassist and co-vocalist Dan Adriano about the new album, the band's new skate shoe, and more.

Starting this month and every month till December, we'll be publishing a list of your favorite albums for the previous month. Since this is our first run through this, we're going to open the feature with the top ten of the year so far. Leading the pack is the Gaslight Anthem and other popular releases include albums from The Mountain Goats, Vampire Weekend, Alkaline Trio, Pennywise, Less Than Jake and more.

Pop-punk outfit (and likely The Movielife fans) have posted the new video from their new EP The Longest Way Home, due out July 22nd through Run For Cover Records. It follows the band's 2007 full length, A Place for You.

The details have been announced for the upcoming Adeline split featuring Broadway Calls and Teenage Bottlerocket. Each band contributes an original and a cover with Broadway Calls tackling Billy Bragg's "She's Got a New Spell" and Teenage Bottlerocket covering Dead Milkmen's "Dean's Dream."

Sub Pop has announced the third in their singles club series. The series will run monthly for one year, beginning with the first single on August 15th. Only 1,500 singles subscriptions will be sold, and each single will include both the 7-inch and a digital download code. The whole year runs $75.00 for North Americans and $90.00 for people worldwide.
This year’s Sub Pop Singles Club will include records with music from such artists as Om, Unnatural Helpers, Tyvek, Black Mountain, Black Lips, Arthur & Yu, Mika Miko, Blues Control, Notwist and others that will be revealed soon.

Panic! At the Disco recently recorded a set at the legendary Abbey Road Studios set to air tonight at 10pm on Sundance. Through Spin, a track from the set is available for streaming online.

Murder City Devils have announced another reunion show set for September 6th in Portland, Oregon at the Roseland Ballroom. The show follows the band's recent Fun Fun Fun Fest appearance last November.

The Living End have announced the track listing for their upcoming album. The record is titled White Noise and is due out July 19, 2008
The first pressings will feature an exclusive live DVD, 'Live at AC/DC Lane'. The album was recorded last March in Hoboken, New Jersey with John Agnello and mixed by Brenden O'Brien between his commitments mixing the new AC/DC and Pearl Jam records.

New Weathermen/Ferret act Heavy Heavy Low Low have posted another new song from their next album. The record is titled Turtle Nipple and the Toxic Shock and is due out August 19, 2008.

The Human Abstract have posted the second new track from their upcoming sophomore Hopeless Records album. The record is titled Midheaven and is due out August 16, 2008. It is the follow-up to Nocturne which was released in 2006.
