NOFX has added a run of Canadian dates to their recently announced tour with Dillinger Four. The Flatliners providing support as well. NOFX most recently appeared on the Fuse Television series, Backstage Passport. D4 will be releasing their new album any day now, but you can find the artwork here.
Dillinger Four are currently in the studio at The Terrarium with Dave Gardner in Minneapolis, MN.

We've got a brand new stream from Sacramento, CA's Trash Talk today. The band released their new self-titled album via their own Trash Talk Collective label and promise heavy angry hardcore with harsh dueling vocals.

New Jersey's I Know The Struggle have made two songs, including "Strodsburg," which features a guest guitar spot from Chris Rest of Lagwagon, available as free downloads on their website.
In an interesting twist, the band has decided to opt out of the traditional CD release and instead offer listeners the chance to download both "Strodsburg" and "It Looks Good on Paper" for free. People who decide to donate some money to the band will be rewarded with two additional tracks.
To Write Love on Her Arms inspiration publishes journals

The girl who served as inspiration for the non-profit organization To Write Love On Her Arms, Renee Yohe, will be publishing the journals chronicling her descent into addiction and self-destruction. Titled Purpose For the Pain, more details about the book can be found here.
Punknews.org previously interviewed Jamies Tworkowski, one of the founders of the organization.

Tweak Bird will release their debut EP Reservations September 9th via Volcom Entertainment. The album was produced under the helm of the production team Deaf Nephews (Melvins’ Dale Crover and Altamont/ Big Business’ Toshi Kasai).
This year will also see the return of Puces Pop, a D.I.Y. festival with a marketplace, gear swaps, record sales, a fashion show and numerous workshops and seminars.

Chicago, IL's Scouts Honor have released a previously unreleased track as a live video on YouTube. Titled "Books of Bokonon," the news comes tandem with the announcement that the band plans to re-issue their older material digitally through Thinker Thought Records.

The long running and much loved punk band will perform at a Hot Water Music reunion gig in Portland, OR, to be followed later in the month by three East Coast dates with bands like Sick Of It All and Everybody Out!. Paul Westerberg, accomplished solo artist and former frontman of Minneapolis based The Replacements, has released his new album 49:00 as a digital-only download through Amazon for $0.49. The album is a single, undivided track without listed song titles.

Collectors’ Choice Music has announced plans to reissue the second and third albums from Television guitarist Tom Verlaine. The label will put out new versions of 1981's Dreamtime and 1982's Words From The Front, both of which were originally released on Warner Bros. Records. The expanded editions of the full lengths will feature new liner notes by Jason Gross, editor of Perfect Sound Forever.
Dreamtime featured a number of artists joining Verlaine, including Television's Fred Smith on bass, Bruce Brody (Patti Smith Group, Pretenders) on keyboards, Jay Dee Daughtery (Patti Smith Group, The Church) and Rich Teeter (The Dictators, Twisted Sister) drumming, guitarist Ritchie Flieger and bassist Donnie Nossov (John Waite, Pat Benatar, Lita Ford). Words From The Front was the Verlaine's first collaboration with his now long-time guitarist Jimmy Rip and also featured Mink DeVille members Joe Vasta (bass) and drummer Tommy Price (drums).

Melbourne, Australia's Cut Copy have announced a co-headlining tour with Sydney's Presets. The two electronic duo's plan to tour North America in mid-September, beginning in Mexico and weaving its way across the States and up into Canada. The band is currently finishing up some summer tour dates and European festival apperances in support of last year's In Ghost Colours.
Prescott, Arizona based Partners In 818 have released a new song from their upcoming EP A Well Lit Place For Shady People. Expect a release later this year on Satiated Records. Partners In 818 recently released a split 7" with folk-punk duo Andrew Jackson Jihad. You can check out the music at MySpace.
Rutland, Vermont's Strike Orange has announced that they will play an upcoming rally for presidential candidate Barak Obama. The band got the campaign's interest through their preformace at last month's Peace, Punk and Metal Festival 2008 to raise money for Darfur. More details can be found on their MySpace page. The band, formerly known as Orange Juice, boasts six albums worth of material despite it's members only having a median age of 20 years old.
