Richard Woolcott and Tucker Hall founded Volcom Clothing in 1991, growing from a bedroom based company to a well-recognized skate / surf / snowboard brand. In 1995 Woolcott and theLINE frontman Ryan Immegart (Volcom's first sponsored snowboarder) launched the Newport Beach based label Volcom Entertainment. theLINE's `95 album Self-titled Again gained fame within the skate / surf / snow community, selling 5000 copies in the first six months exclusively through boarding retailers. In the following years Volcom Entertainment has become yearly presence on the Warped Tour and has helped launch the careers of Hawaiian dub rock band Pepper and Denver metal / punk band Vaux.

Following labels like Victory Records and Fat Wreck Chords who have each launched vinyl reissue series, the label will be releasing a series of bimonthly seven-inches. The subscription-based series will include music from Birds of Avalon, Dark Meat, Earthless, Monotonix, Red Fang, Rtx, Totimoshi, Turbonegro, Tweak Bird, Valient Thorr, Witch and Year Long Disaster. Every other month - beginning in February with Turbonegro/Year Long Disaster - subscription holders will receive one of the splits.…ASG announce new album ASG has digitally released their new full length and scheduled a 2008 release date for a physical version. The record is titled Win Us Over and is due out on CD January 22, 2008. The album is the follow-up to 2003's The Amplification of Self Gratification and promises "ingredients of stoner rock, psychedelic metal, and angst-ridden punk rock." Year Long Disaster are a Rock n' Roll power trio featuring Daniel Davies (son of Kinks guitarist Dave Davies) on guitar and vocals, Rich Mullins (ex-Karma To Burn, Speedealer) on bass, and Brad Hargreaves (Third Eye Blind) behind the drum kit. The band will head out for a week with Ted Leo and his Pharmacists, then a stint on Volcom's label package tour, and finally a couple weeks with the Fucking Champs.
