Artists with releases on this label:

"Crosscheck Records started as a label in 2003, but the seeds of the project were sown in the early 80's Boston hardcore scene with a handful of ex-pat Bostonians who were living in Hollywood and ruining it for everyone. For years we watched as our scene was co-opted by the mainstream, first the tiny nibbles of acceptance, swiftly increasing as the voracious appetite of major labels sought to feed the maw of popular culture, signing every spiky haired boy-band and alt-rocker with tatts and a sneer.

At Crosscheck our goal is to bring the truth back to the fans, the urgency, the warning, the threat that real punk and hardcore have always represented.

There will always be an underground music scene and there will always be bands that need to be heard. Crosscheck Records will find those bands and give them voice."
